The Baby and Toddler rooms are designed for our children aged two and under. As you enter these rooms there is an immediate homely feel. Our experienced supervisors Carol and Liz(Level 4 Qualifed) skilfully lead their teams work with parents right from the first meeting, paying great attention to detail ensuring that the settling of the child is a smooth transition.

 

Parents and carers receive a warm welcome to the nursery and are allocated a named staff member (Key worker) who then becomes responsible for planning and record keeping for their child. Working together and sharing information is at the heart of our philosophy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Activities - Activities are planned to follow the childrens development

and interests at the time and are displayed for parents to see.

 

 

Simple activities such as painting, water play, chasing bubbles, action songs, mirror play, treasure basket and sharing a story are firm favourites at this stage. As they get a little older heuristic play, climbing, circle games, construction, jigsaws, IT and computers are added.

 

In both of these rooms the children can work at their own place with cots, prams, bouncy chairs or mats, cushions and blankets available should they need to rest at any time.
